As an employee of Kernan Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation , and part of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), you are eligible for a comprehensive employee benefits package-one designed to give you the flexibility to create the plan that is right for you and your dependents.

Benefits are available to all employees who are scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week in a regular status. Benefit costs are either paid by UMMS, or shared with the employee. Health and dental benefits become effective on the first of the month following date of hire, or change to benefit-eligible status.
